We understand just how important the safe shipping of your dog is. We are delivering to you a member of your family and will treat your dog like it was our own. While we know you would like your dog with you quickly, we have to comply with your destination’s regulations which are in place for the safety of your puppy.
Shipping your puppy by itself to a new location always sounds cruel and embarrassing, but we think it is harder for us than the puppy. With many years of experience in delivering puppies to our clients, we know for a fact that all of the puppies are well taken care of, so if you stop and think about it, the airlines are not going to mistreat the puppy for fear of lawsuit and customer dissatisfaction.
The average flight is approximately 1 to 6 hours. We always ask about any delays or layovers and know the exact times and departures of the flights, so we know where the pup is and can also give you the information. The puppy will arrive the same day as it is sent–usually in a few hours. We have a big fluffy bed of shredded newspapers in the crate for the puppy(s) to nestle in and usually a pig’s ear chew (they love them), and a toy or sock with my scent on it–to help the pup feel secure.
Consider shipping as an option and we make the shipping arrangements; this is because most often we find suitable homes for our puppies but they might not be located within driving distance. This question was asked the man at the shipping company on my first attempt to ship a puppy a couple of years back, and this was his answer to me “When we book a flight for a puppy, it is only on safe and approved Airlines that have pet-safe programs that follow strict guidelines ” The puppy will have the same air as the pilot flying the plane & someone will be there to cater for them on board, we don’t fly the puppies in the cargo section.
